Louisiana Wildlife was the theme for this year’s annual Greening at the Louisiana State Exhibit Museum. We made some paper alligators and gave them some festive origami Santa hats for our ornaments this year. I don’t have an art club this year like I have in the past so instead we drew names from a hat to decide who got to go on the field trip. Students were even able to earn extra chances by displaying good behavior in class!
Once there we went straight into the skit which you can read more about here. After the skit we decorated our tree and then played some quiet games while waiting our turn in the craft station. I love this trip every year its so exciting to see how all the other teachers and students interpret the theme and how all the trees come together.
